Odds & Ends
The Cliff Hanger
Several people who read last week’s blog, Lost & Found, wondered WHY my husband took two hours at a neighbor’s house when he had planned to only stay ten minutes. In tidying that blog up for publication, I edited out the explanation he gave because it seemed a bit extraneous to the story. I guess I was wrong! Nothing like a cliff hanger to keep people interested!
Here’s the resolution to the cliff hanger: Ron was planning to check the electrical box to see if a new one needed to be ordered. He had planned to do the job the following week. Once he saw the box was in good shape, and Ron being Ron, he decided to go ahead and do the whole job right then and there. I had lots of reason to be annoyed that he was later than he said he would be, but no reason to be worried about betrayal. My over-the-top response was all based on the past and triggered by a current day event. Once I figured that out, all was well!

Support Our Writers
Here I go again, bringing up those pesky online ratings and reviews! DW now has two memoirists who have written about our lives with DID. If you have read our books, please leave a review and/or rating at Amazon. It helps to give us more exposure so more people will buy our books.
Suritaplus, author of Quilted: Piecing Together My Dissociated Selves, needs your review. Have you left one yet? I have!
Lyn Barrett (me), author of Crazy: Reclaiming Life from the Shadow of Traumatic Memory, has hovered at 59 ratings for several months. Can you push me up to 60, or even more?!
When you write your book, we promise we’ll help you too!
